The Auxiliary to the AVMA

The Auxiliary to the AVMA is a non-profit organization of family, veterinarians, associates, and friends of the veterinary profession whose purpose is to promote the science and art of veterinary medicine through communication, education, and support of those associated with the profession.

A national organization, the first Auxiliary for the Healing Arts has since 1917 supported and addressed the unique needs, problems, and issues that face veterinary medicine.

WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE

The Auxiliary supports the veterinary profession through providing veterinary student scholarships and assisting in educating the public about animal care and health, the human-animal bond, the interrelationship of animal and human health, and the role of the veterinarian.
